OWNERS INSTRUCTIONS:
INSTALLATION:
1. REMOVE THE PAPER SEAL AND THE PLASTIC BLUE CAP FROM EACH END OF THE HOSE FILTER.
2. UNSCREW THE HOSE FROM THE BRACKET.
3. SCREW THE SWIVEL OF THE HOSE FILTER ONTO THE BRACKET.
4. ATTACH THE HOSE TO THE HOSE FILTER.
RUN HOT WATER THRU THE FILTER FOR
A FULL FIVE MINUTES AFTER INSTALLING:
OPERATION:
1. Turn the shower water on to the "full hot" position, to activate filtration media.
2. After hot water is flowing thru the filter, cool to the desired showering temperature.
MAINTENANCE:
Back - flush monthly or as needed by reversing
the direction of the cartridge in the filter housing.
FILTER CARTRIDGE REPLACEMENT
The filter cartridge should be replaced every 3 months
or 3,000 gallons, which ever comes first.
1. Remove cartridge by unscrewing filter housing at the ribbed collar.
2. Remove paper seal from each end of the new filter cartridge
and lubricate o-rings with small amount of vaseline.
3. Insert cartridge into filter housing and reattach ribbed collar.
4. Flush for 2 minutes
Sprite industries warrants the shower filter housing to be free of defects for a period of 1 year, when used under normal operations. at the time of purchase.
