ELASTIC BRACELET:
1 x 28 cm Elastic. Start by threading your gemstones onto elastic. To stop any gemstones falling off the end of elastic and sticky tape over one end etc. Once all gemstones are threaded make sure they all gemstones are pushed together, by grabbing to two ends and holding upwards will push the gemstones together. Then tie and knot using both ends together and pulling the elastic tight to bring together any loose gemstones. I recommend 3 knots. Then add a drop of glue to make sure the knot doesn’t loosen. Cut any loose ends to finish your bracelet.
EARRINGS HOOPS: OPTIONAL WIRE WRAPPED
Depending on age (You may need an adult to help you.)
1 x pair of pliers.
Lift of the circle part of the hoop earring up over its closing bar. With your pliers straighten out the closing bar to continue the circle is straight so that beads with thread etc. Once all 7 gemstones are threaded onto your first earring get an adult to use pliers again to reposition closing bar to its original position. Be carefully not to force wire too roughly as can bend were fold is etc. So be careful. Repeat with second hoop.
Once this is completed you will have made your very own hoop earrings. In the kit come 2 x sets of D.I.Y hoop earrings
WIRE WRAPPED
4 x 15 cm wire
Add 7 X gemstones per wire. To stop any gemstones falling off the end of wire and sticky tape over one end etc. position one end of wire near 1 x hoop. Thread wire leaving a small tail. Wrap around 5 times with no gemstones. Push all wire together neatly. Either wrap the last tail bit (or cut). Trim the end wire and crimp with pliers so they is no sharp end etc. Then start wrapping the wire with one gemstone per wrap. Do all 7 gemstones. Then repeat 5 times wrapping with no gemstones. Then cut wire and crimp again so no sharp end
EARRINGS DANGLES:
Depending on age (You may need an adult to help you.)
1 x pair of pliers.
Place all gemstone on your working mat. Choose 7 x gemstones per pin. Lay 2 rows of gemstone 7 per row. Try to make pairs so that they will look the same once you wear them as a pair of dangle earrings etc. When choosing your gemstones, try and match shape size and colour for the best look. Once you are happy with you design. Start threaded gemstone to pin. Hold them up to see IF they are both the same length. You may have to remove gemstones several time to you mastered the correct length of both dangles etc. One you are happy it’s time to close the pin. You can do this just with pliers for your first project. OR purchase bail making pliers for the professional look. Repeat with second dangles.
